For over 20 years, I’ve navigated the complex world of software engineering, building systems that thrive on logic and reliability. From that experience, I’ve learned that the best systems are the ones that make life feel effortless, and I apply that exact same philosophy to Simple Sustenance.
While my career was built in the technology space, my true passion has always been food, and my deepest peace has always been found in the kitchen, trading my keyboard for my chef’s knife.
I know exactly how hard it is to find the balance between a demanding career, a bustling household, and a nourishing meal. I founded Simple Sustenance to solve that "input/output" problem for my community, bringing a level of intentional design to your dinner table that restores your time without sacrificing your health.

My cooking is inspired by my favorite global travels but grounded in my Central Illinois roots. I specialize in vibrant, upscale flavors, whether it’s the intrigue of a Peruvian Lomo Saltado or the comforting, earthy depth of a short rib ragu.
